When we open the kiln after firing, it’s literally like Christmas around here! That probably is the most fun part of this job! We know what the pieces looked like before but after sitting in a kiln for 8 hours, and the glaze slowly forms the shiny appearance. It’s magical! Sometimes it is hard to picture what your project will look like and then BAM when you see it shiny and ready, it’s awesome!
Definitely, the best part of my day!
